My daughter used this tape to help support her shin and ankle while she runs. The tape is pre-cut, but in solid strips, not pre-split as the picture indicates. But, it is easy to apply and remove. It stayed securely adhered to her skin and did not irritate her skin at all. The smell reminded me a bit of Icy Hot, as did the heat sensation she described. The tape and heat did help alleviate her pain, and this product is strong and durable. However, it is priced a bit high, so we likely won't re-order.

So much better than just standard kinesiology tape. Easy to apply and stays put. I wore before running this morning and didn`t come off despite being sweaty. Helped with pain and I`m recovering quicker than normal. No allergic skin reactions

So far I've been very happy with the way these are working. I've used kinesiology tape before and these are on par with similar higher end products I've used. I like these because they include a slight menthol additive to them which is subtle and not over powering, it's just enough. To be honest I haven't felt the "heating" so much. I applied them to my lower back to treat some slight pain I feel throughout the day. As long as you know how to properly apply them or watch some videos online on how to apply them I have to say it works! I've had the same tape applied for two days now (lasted through a shower on the first night) and so far they've showed absolutely no signs of peeling off. They've stayed on perfectly! I have tried store brands in the past but they didn't hold for more than a few hours. This is one of those things where it's worth a few dollars more to get a better product. The package contains 20 strips, each measuring 10" long by 2" wide. What's nice is they come in a resealable package and bonus, they're made in the USA! I would recommend these as they work well and are quality, well made strips.
I wasn`t sure what to expect with this tape, but I`m really glad I gave it a try. The precut strips make it super easy to apply, and they stick really well without being uncomfortable. What I liked most was that it stayed in place. I sweated, worked outside, showered, and it was still there. No skin irritation and no sticky residue when I removed it.

I got this menthol K tape to see if the cooling twist actually helps. The precut strips are a good size at about 2 by 10 inches, and the fabric has that familiar cotton stretch that moves without feeling stiff. There`s a light menthol scent when I open the pouch, then it fades. The adhesive feels secure in line with other k tape that I've used. I`ve used it on my knee, wrist, and a couple of fingers.
Support-wise it behaves like my usual tape, with the bonus cooling tingle that kicks in a few minutes after application. That combo makes it feel like a two for one. It holds up through a workout and sweat, and it comes off cleanly if I peel slowly using the same techniques that I use for regular k tape removal. I like this for when I feel like I need a little more than normal support, so wouldn't use this daily like I do other k tape.
I have tendonitis in my foot and use tape to help prevent the inevitable pain when I know I`ll be active. If I don`t use kinesiology tape prior to activity, I have pain and that is when I used this AI (Active Intelligence) Tape for the first time.
Although the directions instruct users to apply the tape 1 hour prior to activity, I used it after and had great results. I really like topical menthol gels/sprays for muscle and tendon pains and love tape for prevention and treatment so the combination is brilliant and works great! I think it`s a bit expensive but you are getting 2 treatment modalities in 1 product. Plus, I can`t think of a way to make kinesiology tape work over menthol gel that lasts as long as the effects I experienced with this tape (hours of menthol benefit).

This heating and cooling therapy tape is a great thing to have on hand. My husband hurt his back at the gym and finds himself still having pains from pulling a muscle in the lower back. The tape can be used during his work outs, hunting, hiking, and every day wear. It`s also water resistant which is great due to most activities involve sweating. When my husband`s back brace is too much to wear in the hot summer heat, the tape is a lifesaver for his back! It is sturdy and holds up to his activities.
So, a month ago I slipped and fell in my kitchen. Nothing too bad but I pulled some muscles and tendons around my knee. I have been working on getting it better since and even though it healed somewhat, it kept being stiff and painful. Having to work full time on my feet isn't helping. In addition to massage and painkiller creams, I have been taping around the knee with regular athletic tape and also applying separate heating/cooling patches from a famous brand under a knee brace.
When I came across this particular heating/cooling tape, my interest was peaked. Never knew athletic tape could be heating and cooling, too. So I thought, I have already been taping and alternating with patches, whoever combined these two in one is a genius! Having used it now for the last week or so, I am very pleased with this product.
The tape is black and comes with backing like any other athletic tape. it is however thicker than most athletic tape I've used, which is a great thing. I really like that it is precut in 10-inch strips which makes separating it from the roll and applying it easy and without the tape sticking to itself.
The first time, I used 2 pieces and taped them around my knee where the painful spots are. It was super easy to peel off the backing a bit at a time while simultaneously taping off the free from backing parts. It went on super easily and stayed stuck, even though I had to make turns with it to create the round shape around my knee. In the first 5 minutes, a tiny bit of heat started, then after 15 minutes, a bit of cool. After 30 minutes of the tape being on, the heat really turned up. The heat level is comparable to those name brand patches. It continues for a few hours.
I have retaped a few times since, about once every 24 hours and have worn the tape at work and overnight. It's always performed beautifully. Before this tape, my knee would freeze while I slept or sat, and was painful when I moved at night to the point it woke me up if I jostled it. With this tape, it stays nice and toasty. I also used to wear a brace overnight, but it was too hot and uncomfortable. Wearing this tape instead of a brace at night is comfortable and light. I also wear it under my knee brace while at work. My brace fits right over it with no issues to provide extra support while the tape keeps the area nice and warm.
I wear it constantly except when in the shower, and reapply right after. Thanks to it, my knee doesn't freeze if I sit for too long like it used to. I am buying two more rolls to make sure my healing continues when I run out of this tape. I presume a roll would last me about 10 days as I use 2 strips per day. The knee is already feeling much better thanks to it. Totally worth the money!
